"Gina Cholick is today's entry in YourDailyPhotograph.com's NEW PICTORIALISTS. While Osceola Refetoff and I had a certain landscape and architecture focus in this curation project, there's something deeply compelling about lavishing hand-made attentions on photographic images of the human form. This poetic study could easily be "New Classical" as well as pictorialist. Something about the optical texture makes me think I can feel the quality of the skin, as well as the light and the atmosphere. Wonderful.
