The Los Angeles Center of Photography is a wonderful organization and important to my life since I’ve found a community there of like minded artists there.

Emerge 2021 at Midwest Center for Photography

I'm thrilled to be part of the exhibition Emerge 2021 at the Midwest Center for Photography. ⁠⁠The show opened this weekend and will be on view through April 30th. My piece "Glimmer" from my new series Blue is being shown along with 20 other artists. I grew up in South Dakota so the Midwest is close to my heart and I'm happy this piece gets to spend some time there.

Memory Show at SE Center for Photography

My image “Lost in a Dream” was selected by Juror Fran Forman for the upcoming show Memory at the Southeast Center for Photography in Greenville, South Carolina. Portraits of Self-Isolation at PhotoPlace Gallery

Creating self portraits has been an important part of finding purpose and solace during this difficult time. I’m happy one of the images from my new series will be included in the show Portraits of Self-Isolation at PhotoPlace Gallery curated by Aline Smithson. The exhibition will be July 30-August 20th 2020 at the gallery in Middlebury VT and is already online for viewing.

While Osceola Refetoff and I had a certain landscape and architecture focus in this curation project, there's something deeply compelling about lavishing hand-made attentions on photographic images of the human form. Something about the optical texture makes me think I can feel the quality of the skin, as well as the light and the atmosphere. Wonderful. Los Angeles Center of Photography Fundraising Gala

Los Angles Center of Photography is an incredible photo center that has brought me a wonderful sense of community and offers great workshops and classes for all levels of photography. This Sunday is their fundraiser.
